First, Don is Mary’s husband of 24 years.  After spending 30 years in residential remodeling and 5 years as a home inspector, he decided to obtain his real estate license  in 2009 and joined Mary’s real estate team.  With his construction and inspecting experience he brings a unique approach to helping our clients.  

Don's main responsibilities include contract to close paperwork, setting up and attending inspections, advising on repairs, running open houses and working with our buyers as needed.  

He has a Business Degree from the University of Kansas and an SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist)  designation in real estate.  He served on the Leawood Home Association Board and is currently active on the Architectural Review Committee for the homes association.  We are responsible for reviewing all residential building plans in our homes association to ensure they meet our guidelines before approval for construction.  

Don is an Eagle Scout, longtime resident of the Kansas City area and has raised five children with Mary.  He enjoys college football and basketball and is constantly trying to improve his golf game.
